Second Post of the Day to make up for lost time

Sarah found a new picture for my mantel yesterday at Michael's (we weren't shopping for mantel pictures, but I like it).... my living room & furniture are a weird shade of brown... and I used to be adding a pinkish accent color (or trying to), but now I am switching more to a red and getting rid of the pink. The red sort-of ties in the kitchen, which is yellows, greens and reds. I am using all of these decorating terms loosely since I am not much of a decorator, really... I just do what I like. Here is what I have come up with:

Very pretty. My colors always tend to be greens and deep red's/burgundy's. Ever since I took the evergreen/garland off the mantel (the Christmas decorations), Clay has been saying how plain the mantel now looks. He wants me to "dress" it up more. I want to go to Hobby Lobby soon and look around. Like you, I'm not a decorater, so I don't know what to get!

I like the red! :) But I'm a huge red fan when it comes to my home. And the picture is perfect size for your mantel. Good job!
