Simple

Early one morning I was on my way to get my nails done before work and I needed gas.  The closest gas station to my house is a Texaco station that also doubles as a Dairy Queen and the gas is always the most expensive in town.  I never get gas there.  Not ever.  But I was tempted this particular morning because I wasn't sure if there was another one between my house and Tammy's and I needed gas THAT bad.  Just a couple gallons, I reasoned.  Then I remembered it... yes, there was another gas station- about a mile or so up the road as you go further out into the "country".  An old mom-and-pop type gas station I had never been to. I wasn't even sure if you could use a credit card at the pump.  But, I figured I would give it a try.  Which turned out to be a good decision that morning.  For one, the gas was 14 cents cheaper per gallon- and yes, they took cards at the pump.  It was busy that morning with people on their way to work, but there was a spot for me, so I filled up.  And then I took this silly little picture on my phone because the morning sunlight at the country gas station was very soothing and I weird things give me warm fuzzies.

And then Libby and her friend made this tie-dye cake, which also gave me a little warm fuzzy because I love when Libby is creative.  And it tasted great, too, once they got it frosted.
Other than that, I have been sick and cranky and spending alot of time sleeping.  :-)  Which, if you know me, I like to sleep a good bit, too!
